The Fire Alarm

The office building I work in is a very visual & graphical structure. Most people walk in & out of the building without even realizing the beauty of the light creating these amazing shadows & shapes.

My family and I just returned from a vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. A really beautiful place. I got up every morning at 5:30 AM and sat on the beach to watch the sunrise. Great imagery and spectacular colors. Seeing a fiery orange globe slowly arise fom the ocean was a truly spiritual experience. Of course, my wife and kids thought I was going psycho for getting up so early on vacation. To me it was well worth it. I am posting a series of images from that week. All photos were taken between 5:30 and 7:30 AM. A few of the images are my first attempt at HDR. Please feel free to comment, criticize, make suggestions. I hope you enjoy my photos.
